That said, it’s no surprise that from now until the end of December, we tend to be under the pump. Most older alarms are designed to use a phone line dial that goes to a monitoring centre that is alerted when a sensor is triggered. Each of these calls also result in a charge being added to your phone bill. We can’t overstate how important it is to check that your current alarm is NBN ready.
