About Us
National Electronic Security began as Security Connections and was opened for business in 1989 by Gerard Curtin. Based in Lane Cove, Gerard worked as a sole trader, supplying and installing security alarms on the North Shore and Northern Beaches.As the business grew, Gerard moved to Cromer and expanded his region to include Sydney's CBD and Eastern Suburbs. In addition, Gerard broadened into services including CCTV, access control and
intercom systems. He built a solid team behind him to continue to provide an outstanding service to all customers.
Due to Gerard's hard work, dedication and enthusiasm, his business grew to include services for existing and new customers outside Sydney, in regional NSW, and interstate. In 1996, Security
Connections became National Electronic Security and has operated from Killara since 2002.
Today, National Electronic Security is actively involved and supportive of local business and residential communities, sponsoring local charities, school fetes and functions, business support groups, corporate golf days, and sporting clubs.
